Do you have too many weeds in your grass? We have the answers to your problems!
First impressions can make or break a business. A recent study showed that almost 90% of people who had a positive first interaction tell other people about their experience—but 95% of them will talk about a negative first look.
That means healthy lawns can be the difference between being in the red or rolling in the green.

The landscaping at your place of work is your very first visual impression. Maintaining a well-kept lawn that’s free from any weeds shows that your business means business before anyone steps their foot in the door. A vibrant and well-tended lawn shows your work ethic and business sense without saying a word.
But every lawn has to battle the scourge of weeds, those pesky stranglers of beautiful grass.
Don’t let them creep in and ruin your business’ image.
The team here at CLC Inc. is here to help. We’ll take care of those weeds so you can spend your time and energy growing your company, not having to pull weeds.
Here’s our playbook:
WE DIAGNOSE: What’s causing these weeds in your grass?
Before we even decide on what kind of weed killer to use, it’s essential to know what kind of ecosystem you have in your grass. Weed prevention can be just as crucial as weed control. If weeds are left to their own devices, they can become an uncontrollable nuisance for you and a terrible eyesore for your customers.
Weeds can appear in lawns where there is already a decline of the grass. So we’ll keep your lawn healthy by watering and fertilizing correctly and taking care of bare spots before the weeds, such as dandelions, move in.
Rustic View Home and Gardens also recommends aerating the lawn. Aeration will remove small pieces of soil, improving the overall airflow, and make it easier for water and nutrients to reach your grass.
WE PLAN: How do you get rid of weeds on your lawn?
There are many different types of weeds. We will examine what you are dealing with and once we know your lawn and its particular needs, CLC, Inc. will choose the right herbicide for the job.
Two main types of herbicides can get rid of the weeds in your grass and beautify your business. One is a pre-emergent herbicide. The other is a post-emergent herbicide.
Pre-emergent herbicides are used as weed prevention. This herbicide will take care of weeds before you even start to notice them. We cover your lawn carefully and completely, cutting off any path for weeds that might try to sneak up. When done correctly, pre-emergent weed killers should work for up to 8 weeks.
Post-emergent weed killers take the opposite attack.
They’re designed to take care of weeds after they’ve sprouted. Unlike pre-emergent, we use them to spot-treat any weeds that have come up. It’s important to note that the less mature the weed is, the more effective the weed killer will be, so be sure to call us early! A more hardy and mature plant might need multiple applications of a post-emergent herbicide to knock it off your lawn.
WE ATTACK: Using the right weed killer for the job.
Not all grass-dwelling weeds are treated equally. We know weeds and we know they can be difficult to control. We can tell which varietal you’re dealing with so we can choose the right weapon. Rustic View Home and Gardens has a great guide on the three different types of common garden weeds: biennial, annual, and perennial.
Biennial weeds have a two-year life cycle. They spend the first year soaking up nutrients and then use the second year to wreak havoc on your lawn or garden. The good news is that they tend to be easier to deal with since we have more time to root them out. We use a pre- or post-emergent weed killer once a year to stop biennials from making regular appearances.
Annual weeds go through their life cycle in just one year, and as a result, grow more quickly. They also reproduce faster and will likely come back every year, making them a particularly stubborn plant varietal. Pre-emergent herbicide is recommended for annual weeds.
Finally, perennial weeds set up a root system that can chole the life out of any other plants around it. They can also grow relatively large, making them stick out like a sore thumb in your otherwise beautiful grass. To prevent these, we opt to plant other dense plants around the weed to keep them from accessing sunlight and water. However, if they have grown, using a post-emergent herbicide will do the job.
If you have weeds in your grass, let CLC, Inc. take them out. CLC, Inc. knows how to repair your lawn. We kill weeds before they show a negative look on your businesses lawn. Show your customers you care by keeping your lawn or property free from weeds and you can go back to taking care of what matters most: their needs.
