Pre-Season Planning

When snow hits, the last thing you need is a contractor who doesn’t show up. We plan for the upcoming season well in advance so that we have more than enough resources to get the job done.

Communication

During a winter storm event conditions on your property change quickly. Your dedicated professional will stay in contact with you to keep you updated on progress

Post-Storm Safety

In the days following a snow/ice event, snow and ice melt during the day then refreeze accross hard surfaces creating a safety hazard. Wind also can blow snow onto hard surfaces. We make visits before business hours each day following a storm to apply salt to hazardous areas.

Snow and Ice Management FAQ

When should you plow snow?

It’s best to plow snow during off hours, such as early in the morning before rush hour and prior to starting your day. Plowing this way will make it easier for employees to arrive with no issues or delays because their commute wasn’t impacted by unexpected weather earlier than expected.

For a home, if you expect for snow accumulation to be larger than an inch, its best to begin shoveling before it gets too deep.

How many inches of snow before you plow?

Although there is no standard limits, it is important to begin plowing the snow away as soon as possible when it’s still storming outside, because deeper the snow pile becomes harder to clear. The depth of this kind of accumulation can be especially bad for productivity due to the snow hardening up and making snow removal difficult.

Testimonials

We have a vast landscape with many demands, CLC always exceeds our expectations. We have worked with other landscape companies in the past, but none have had the knowledge like them.”

H.S.

The CLC staff is outstanding in keeping in close touch with our needs. The CLC account manager assigned to our account keeps the lines of communication flowing. We have had numerous landscaping companies in the past, CLC is the only one that has kept association member satisfaction at a record high.

R.S.

As board president and on the behalf of the association, I would like to thank you and your organization for the fine job you have done. Your effort and attention to our landscape has paid off and this is the best the property has looked in over nine years!

F.J.

I live in a townhouse community that CLC acquired the contract with this year. There has been tremendous improvement from last year this time. Grounds are well kept, edging, fresh mulch, and very professional landscapers. I recommend CLC.

Mary Jane Dolan

“We have used Chris and his team for several projects ranging from complete landscape – retaining walls, paver patios, sod, and plantings – to smaller projects in between, and have loved them all!”

Dr. Gregory & Ms. Sharlene Toone

They responded promptly with a quote to do winter pruning for my trees and shrubs. Their fees were reasonable to the point that I didn't feel the need to get additional quotes. After I signed on, they completed pruning and general tidying up of my dental office property within a week. I went ahead and signed on for their annual grounds maintenance plan because it was also fairly priced. I am very pleased with their service and recommend them for any commercial or residential landscaping services.
